John S. ~ Edwards, COI have worked with Eric and Tim of Mountain Window Repair several times over the last 10
years. Last year my 9-foot arched window which sits over three 8 foot high sliding panels
started fogging. The cost to replace the sliders and the arched window was in the tens of
thousands of dollars and then it wouldn’t match. The solution was to just replace the insulated
glass keeping everything else in place. Eric was able to come in and expertly measure for a
custom arched replacement glass panel. Several weeks later, Eric and Tim installed the
replacement glass. The job took a couple of hours and they did not disturb the interior plaster
or the exterior stucco.
On another occasion Eric and Tim helped our condo association save over $100,000. A
hailstorm had damaged a number of original windows in a 10 unit townhome project. The
damage was to the sliding tracks and the manufacturer was out of business so solution was to
replace with new windows which would not match and require Interior and exterior work to
the affected units. Eric was able to locate parts on the secondary market which allowed us
repair our original windows and maintain the architectural integrity of our complex.
I can’t say enough about the service and quality of work that Eric and Tim provide. I have had
numerous vendors stop by and try and quote me on replacing all the windows in my 30 year old
home. Working with Mountain Window Repair has allowed me to maintain my windows and
doors is such a way that they will last me for years to come. They aren’t cheap, but every penny
I spent has been well worth it
